Radio Servicing Professionals' magazine from
1951 until around 2002
The PF Index was published from
January 1950 into mid-1954 for the radio and TV service
professional. In 1954 it transitioned into
the PF Reporter and in January of 1969 it became
"Electronic Servicing" to reflect the growth
of consumer electronics.
In 1982, the magazine became "Electronic
Service & Technology".
The "PF" in the
title reflects its relationship with the
Howard Sams "PhotoFact" service guides.
Note that the name "Electronic Servicing"
had been used in the late 50's by the
renamed "Radio & Television Service Dealer".
There appears to be no relation between the
two.
