Practical
Television, later known as"Television"and
subsequently"Television
& Consumer Electronics", was aUKmagazine
for the electronics/TV servicing trade,
enthusiasts, and the general public.
Practical Televisionwas
initially a supplement toPractical
Wirelessand
available as a separate publication from
September 1934. It consolidated with
Practical Wireless after November, 1938The publication reappeared after the
war with edition Number 1 in April 1950. It ceased
publication again in June 2008 after several
changes in ownership.
In 1971, the title was shortened to "Television"
with a subheading of "Servicing,
Construction, Colour Developments". The
subheading evolved over the years, and by
mid-2004 the name was "Television and
Consumer Electronics"
