The journal of the Mid-Atlantic Antique Radio Club
began in 1984 as a newsletter named after the club.
When the original hobbyist "Radio Age" published by
Don Patterson from 1975 to 1993 ceased operations,
the name was ceded to the MARC which began using the
name in 1994.
On this page we include both the "original" Radio
Age and the MAARC bulletin and MAARC "Radio Age"
beginning in 1994 |

Mid-Atlantic Antique
Radio Club (MAARC) is a club for those dedicated to
collecting, restoring, and preserving vintage
electronics. Collecting antique radio, television,
hi-fi audio/stereo, electronic instruments, and test
equipment is a fun and interesting pastime that
appeals to a variety of folks.
Members include pure collectors who are looking for
their next great find, technicians and tinkerers who
like to restore the electronics or refinish
cabinets, historians and preservationists interested
in the history of the technology, and those who are
into it as a small business. |
