There were apparently several magazines called
"Tele-Views".
Los Angeles Editon
A magazine with this title was
published from 1945 onwards to at least 1953 from
offices in Los Angeles.
Midwest Edition
The Midwest-headquarterd version began
publishing a week to week listing of area TV
stations for the Davenport-Rock Island-Moline area
and portions upper Midwest on January 6, 1951.
In June of 1952, the publication became affiliated
with TV Forecast, which published a similar magazine
in other areas. Tele-Views changed its name to TV
Forecast, but the original company continued to
print the editions
In February of 1953, an agreement was made with
Triangle Publishing to produce the regional editions
of TV Guide in those areas.
While the TV Guide franchise was sold later in the
50's, the original publisher of Tele-Views continued
to provide printing services for regional editions.
The Tele-Views founding partners became involved
with applications one or more TV stations in the
