January 1961 for the industrial and commercial
electronics sector in the UK.

A number of publications from the UK had a "split"
numbering system where the advertising pages at the
front and back of the publication were numbered
separately from the editorial content. In these
cases, the content pages began their numbering
sequence with each volume, and continued throughout
the volume, independent of the ad pages.
This allowed for annual editorial content volumes to
be easily produced with a sequential page system |
