These are copies of the original transmitter
operating procedures and logs from WOR New
York from the early 1950's. They include
daily maintenance steps as well as some
sample logs.
Each day of the week had a manual that was
nearly 200 pages long with very specific
instructions.
WOR operated with 50,000 watts at 710 AM
from a transmitter site in New Jersery. |
