"Music at Home" began with the March/April
1954 issue. With the March/April 1955 issue,
it became "Hi-Fi Music At Home" and
continued to be a publication targeted at
the growing audience for high fidelity home
music systems.
One of the publication's distinctions was
the absence of recording reviews, leaving
that to other publications to concentrate of
home audio systems and personal record
