The name of Radio & TV
News was changed to
Electronics World in May
1959 to reflect the
expanding field of
electronics. The feature
stories covered
technology and its
applications. The focus was
on how technology works.
There were also articles on
audio and video consumer
electronics, communications
systems, automotive and
industrial electronics.
In 1972 it merged with
Popular Electronics and both
names were on the cover of
the surviving publication
