Saber Electronica
was first published in Sao Paulo, Brazil in
1974 and in March 1976, a new phase of the
magazine was launched, starting with issue
number 45. The technical director was the
well known Newton C Braga, he stayed on
until 2009 when he retired, the magazine
celebrated it's 50th anniversary in 2014 and
it served the beginner, the hobbyist, the
amateur, the student, technician or
engineer. The articles were both practical
and theoretical and all projects were well
tested before publication, it appeared to
vanish around issue 475 (in January 2014)
