"Electronics - The Maplin Magazine" and, later,
"Electronics & Beyond" was a hobbyist and
experimenter magazine published between 1980 and
early 2002. It was published by Maplin
Electronics, a retailer of electronic goods in the
UK and Ireland. The magazine began as a quarterly,
but in 1988 came out every two months, with monthly
publishing beginning in 1991
